Terms and conditions of sale & Work carried out in 2010/2011:
Application of Conditions
All orders are subject to this and the following conditions and orders are only accepted upon and subject to these conditions. Any variation of these conditions in the customers order shall be inapplicable unless expressly accepted by us in writing.
Tax Rate
Tax rate is set to government recommendation and is payable by appropriate methods.
VAT Rate
VAT rate is set to government recommendation of 17.5% and is charged on all invoices.
Payment
Payments are due within 30 days of date on invoice. Payments that are not paid within 30 days will incur a surcharge of 2.5% above the bank of England’s base rate.
Delay
No liability is accepted whatsoever for late completion of the order or delay arising directly from any cause beyond our control (including labour disputes, strikes, lock-out, fire or carrier congestion) such delay shall not entitle the customer to refund.
Amendments
Any amendments to the details of the order can only be accepted if written notification is received within 24hrs unless the work has already been put in hand.
Cancellations
In the event of cancellations the deposit cannot be refunded and restocking charge will be payable on Cancellation.
Measurements
These are in accordance with the current Standard Code of Practice of Measurement. Measurements in our order overestimates or underestimates will be adjusted pro rate.
Complaints
In the event of complaint on manufacture or where the company accepts no responsibility for any laying cost incurred.
Pipes
No responsibility is taken against damaged pipes.
Title of goods
All goods remain the property of Total Flooring Contractors ltd until fully paid for.
